We were thrilled to release the debut album from this remarkable talent as an iTunes exclusive back in March 2010 and it has gone on to garner plaudits from all over the world. The fanbase is still growing as news spreads.

'Song For The Dead' is the theme of BBC comedy series "Whites", starring Alan Davies as a lazy chef. The series ran on BBC 2 in 2010.

The premier of the wonderful short film 'Stuck Under September' at the National Portrait Gallery was followed by an intimate live performance of songs from the album with a string quartet. The film is essentially the story of a broken love affair between the sun and the moon and stars the wonderful Emilia Fox. The video for this is available free with the album download at iTunes.

Here's what people are saying:

“A compelling debut record"
**** Q MAGAZINE

"Alexander’s debut album 'Morning Brings a Flood' is the most beautiful album I have heard in years. Period"
NEW YORK POST

"An object lesson in how to wring out every last drop of emotion"
*** UNCUT

"A beautiful album with echoes of Nick Drake"
The Sunday Times

"With songs full of sadness, regret and longing, Wolfe sounds like a husky, bluesy Chris Martin without the ballast and bombast of Coldplay"
The Guardian

"Morning Brings a Flood is an absolutely incredible album"
***** Allgigs

"Wolfe evokes a similar atmosphere to Bright Eyes' finer moments or Bends era Radiohead. This is a cut above the folk rock records being churned out right now"
The Line Of Best Fit

"Morning Brings A Flood is frankly, superb. The audio equivalent of a one-fingered salute to the generic indie music that’s currently insulting the airwaves"
***** The Playground

"Songwriting of a rare quality"
Glasswerk

"One of the most beautiful, captivating & special records you will hear in a long time"
Resident (Album Of The Week)

"The love child of Jeff Buckley and The Beatles, a veritable humdinger of a debut"
Northern Sky

"There’s something reaffirming about hearing a real, true DIY record, conceived in lofts and bedrooms, this is a genuine and extremely endearing record, with flashes of brilliance"
Subba-Cultcha

"This album is fucking awesome. Eleven shatteringly beautiful soulful folk pieces"
Music Is Okay

"Wolfe is a major talent on the rise"
For Folk's Sake

"If you like Nick Drake and Elliott Smith you're gonna love Alexander Wolfe"
Down With Tyranny

‘Singer/Songwriter, Alexander Wolfe, is from South East London. His tempo is slow and the songs may be dark, but the music is too beautiful to be considered depressing.’
Unspunhero.com

‘Without any doubt, this was one of the most amazing artists I've seen in the last few months. His music as well as his lyrics create a dense sound that makes you feel melancholy and comfortable at the same time.’
